Alexander Kennedy is Clifford Chance's Tech Knowledge Director for Continental Europe.

Alexander has substantial experience accompanying clients on major tech projects, the launch of novel solutions and tech regulation, including in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), online platforms, digital services, data access and use, connectivity, mobility, transport and space. This includes advising, across sectors, on the developing tech regulatory landscape, organisations' strategy and governance, feasibility studies and compliance programmes, contracting and cooperation arrangements, liability questions in relation to AI and new technologies, ethical considerations, AI as applied to specific sectors, etc.

Alexander works closely with the Firm's teams across Europe and around the world to ensure the Firm remains at the forefront of tech regulation and related developments and help constantly strengthen and adapt the Firm's tech know-how and capabilities. Alexander provides his expertise on strategic tech projects and matters. Where needed, he can combine his tech expertise with the extensive contractual know-how he has developed working on major commercial, industrial and tech projects and contracts since joining the Firm in 2005. Alexander regularly publishes thought leadership pieces, resources and targeted materials and provides training on hot tech topics.

Alexander is a member of Clifford Chance's Global Tech Group, as well as of its Aerospace & Defence and Consumer Goods & Retail sector groups.
