We are committed to reporting regularly to our stakeholders on how we understand our role as a responsible business, and the progress we are making against our objectives. We have reported annually, each year since 2008.
These reports provide an opportunity to show the big picture of how we operate as a single firm worldwide and how this benefits our clients, our communities and our people, and how this is integral to our vision of becoming the global law firm of choice for the world's leading businesses of today and tomorrow.
As a long-standing signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, we actively support the UN Global Compact's 10 principles focusing on the core areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption. We submit a Communication on Progress to the UN Global Compact on a yearly basis. Find out more about our involvement with UN initiatives and our support for the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
To support comparability against other organisations, we report against standard reporting frameworks guided by the principle of materiality. In 2021, we transitioned from the Global Reporting Initiative indicators to the Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics, developed by the World Economic Forum.
We also report on key diversity, employee development and community statistics, and our financial performance.
