Clifford Chance announces four new Counsel appointments in Amsterdam

Global law firm Clifford Chance announces the appointment of four new Counsel in Amsterdam: Lotte de Bruin (Corporate, Energy & Infrastructure and Real Estate), Jurre Jurriëns (Corporate, Antitrust), Tyson Reid (Global Financial Markets) and Herman Steinvoort (Global Financial Markets). The appointments are part of four new Senior Counsel and forty new Counsel across its European offices, effective 1 May 2025.

The new Senior Counsel and Counsel appointments span all practice areas across the firm's European offices, including M&A, Antitrust, Private Capital, Technology, Tax and Litigation.

Lotte de Bruin specialises in Energy & Infrastructure and Real Estate. She works on significant projects in and outside the Netherlands involving (offshore) windfarms, solar, data centres, battery energy storage, carbon capture storage and real estate transactions and major (re)development projects covering all asset classes. She has extensive experience advising energy firms, developers, banks, lenders and institutional investors across several national and international projects.

Jurre Jurriëns specialises in Dutch and European competition law. Jurre advises on multi-jurisdictional merger control cases, foreign direct investment screening, foreign subsidies regulation, cartel investigations, and other behavioural antitrust and compliance matters (including anti-bribery and sanctions) across a range of sectors, including energy and industrials. He advises private equity firms, multinationals and Dutch corporates.

Tyson Reid advises on a variety of private capital transactions including sponsor led leveraged acquisitions, private credit financings and fund finance. He acts for sponsors, borrowers and lenders and advises across the transaction life cycle. He is qualified in New South Wales and has previously worked in London and Sydney.

Herman Steinvoort focuses on advising sponsors, borrowers and lenders on (pan-European) real estate and infrastructure finance transactions. Herman has vast experience in a wide variety of finance transactions working from Amsterdam and London.
