Clifford Chance advises on IPO and listing of restaurant operator Green Tea Group
Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised Citigroup and CMB International Capital as the joint sponsors and underwriters on the IPO and listing of Green Tea Group, a well-known operator of casual Chinese restaurants in China.
Since opening the first Green Tea restaurant in 2008 by the beautiful West Lake in Hangzhou, the group has grown into a nationwide restaurant network consisting of 493 restaurants.
Partners Tianning Xiang and Jean Thio co-led the deal, with support from counsel Claire Cao, senior associates Yuanyuan Cai and April Zhang, associates Yuer Shao, Aili Zhu and Didi Hu and trainee solicitor Zhongxiao Cong.
Tianning said, “We are delighted to have advised on Green Tea Group’s successful IPO and listing. Our participation in the Group's international expansion reflects our commitment in the China market.”
Clifford Chance has advised on the successful listings of several well-known Chinese consumer brands, including Auntea Jenny, Xiaocaiyuan and ChaPanda.
